Called Arch. Last night was miserable. He was able to keep his Foley out, but in trying to void to prove he can go without the foley, he made himself throw up. He told me he wasn't feeling well, and curled up to go back to sleep.
Sometime later that night, he still feels nauseous, even with IV medications. His nurses tell him to fix that, he needs to stand up and walk around. As soon as he's on his feet, he throws up.
They clean him up, he takes his walk.
A few hours again, he walks again, throws up again.
So he sits down in a chair, to recoup before going back to bed. He feel asleep sitting upright in a chair, and when he woke up, it looked like Niagara Falls down his right side. The stoma wound leaked. (had my facts wrong

When I called him up last night, I woke him up. Ooops! But Archie may be able to go home today (Tuesday)! Here's hoping they release him! (He may spend another night in a hotel, if it's too late to drive home)
He's still pretty sore, but able to keep food down now.
