Update!

Greetings all,
Just wanted to spread the word that our favorite lab gryph has successfully made it through surgery with no troubles or complications.  He's now been set up in his own room and resting comfortably, if still way knocked out and a bit.  He'll probably still be very loopy tomorrow too.

I did get a hold of Arch about 8 hours after surgery. He was in some considerable pain and is sleeping off the anesthetics. It was a nice boost to him to know Giles is keeping everyone updated and we're checking in on him.

I can tell his throat is unhappy from the breathing tube. He's doing the same "Ahhhhhhh" thing before speaking I did after my thyroid surgery. That should go away in a few days, but it might limit phone conversations right now.
