A pro-Hufflepuff rant, because there aren't enough

What's the deal with fandom's blatant Hufflepuff undermining? Why is it always either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor for the good guys, Slytherin for the misunderstood? I got linked to this from a post on agnes_beans livejournal, and I just want to say thank you! This beautifully illustrates what Hufflepuff house is, and how fandom ignores or pre-empts their values because Hufflepuff doesn't count as cool.
