Marketing & Events Coordinator -
Location: Atlanta
Category: Marketing/Client Services
Experience Level: Mid Level ( 3-5 years )

The Ideal Candidate:
* A Four-year degree from an accredited college or university as well as three years exerience in a marketing or business development field preferred; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that position.
* Must be able to communicate ideas or positions in a clear, efficient and organized manner
* Must be able to build formal and informal networks both within the organization and outside of the organization in order to share information, ideas and problems
* Must be able to effectively multi-task and prioritize projects while meeting all appropriate deadlines
* Must be able to carry out projects from start to finish with minimal supervision and be able to take appropriate actions to ensure obligations are met.

Local Responsibilities:
* Plans and coordinates client events, seminars and conferences specific to the Atlanta office
* Manages purchases and distribution of tickets to be used by the Atlanta attorneys for client relations and business development

Firm-wide Responsibilities:
* Reports directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing and Client Services - New York
* Works with appointed attorneys/committees and Marketing & Client Services department members to implement the planning of firm and client events including internal retreats, client retreats, receptions, dinners, seminars, conferences, and other client entertainment events. Planning responsibilities include:
o Securing the event location
o Selecting food, beverage and decor for the event
o Negotiating the hotel and vendor contacts
o Managing committee meetings
o Managing the event budget and facilitating
payment of all event expenses
o Maintaining the invitee lists
o Promoting the event
o Overseeing the logistics and a/v for the event
o Facilitating event registration, on-site execution
bill finalization
o Tracking ROI post-event
* Assists other members of the Marketing team in planning local client events as needed
* Manages event vendor relationships and provides vendor recommendations
* Designs invitations and other event related communications
* Manages the planning nad tracking of events in the Department CRM Systems
