As one who hasn't had the best dental life in the world, I feel your pain, literally.

Youch!! But good riddance right? Are you getting partials to replace or ... I can't think of anything else that would work but that. Oh, or they have these screw in teeth that my cousin's father-in-law has. Expensive but they're in there good & tight. As my dad would say, "eating" teeth. My dad is a goof. When he got his 1st pair of dentures, he couldn't eat in them because they were too big. So he called them his "smiling" teeth & decided he needed to get himself an "eating" set.

Anyway, dose up & relax. Hope you feel better.

Good riddance indeed. They had became a health liability, to say the least. The plan, as it stands right now, let this heal up, probably through December, and begin getting the plates in January. Partials for the bottom, full on boogie for the top. I had investigated the implant route, but the cost/benefit ratio was very poor. And if I don't like the denture and want to go for the bionics, you can go that direction, but coming back the other way is almost impossible. And I always like having the options.

Hopefully they'll be both smiling and eating teeth
