From what I've read about the manuscripts, I don't think that's a big deal - the differences are there, but they're really minor. Of course, that depends on whether you accept the concept of "minor". If you're reading for the big picture, no problem - but if you want to construct My Perfect And Authoritative Theology About Which Brand Of Hairspray Is The Righteous One based on bizzarre little itsy-bitsy verse pieces, it could matter. And lots of people live to make up theology about stupid little details...

um. what about the long ending of mark? y'know - the one with the resurrection in it? yea, it's in the other gospels, but doesn't it matter that it's not in one of them?
