About ten minutes after initially posting my last entry (and adding other links in the meantime), I was friend-added by nobetterdeal. Evidently, they have a LJ-tracking bot that looks for people who post stuff from discount websites, adding the poster as a friend as it finds one

I have this problem all the time with Twitter. Every time I mention something, whether a movie I saw or a new game I played, I get some kind of bot trying to sell me more stuff...

Only time it's really been helpful was when one told me about free Shadowrun adventures on their website
