Now I know why fandom calls them 'plot bunnies' - they breed and multiply when you're not looking. So here's a stuck post to keep track of what I'm doing and what stage they're at. All links are to AO3.

And the QAF/Shelter fic was the first one I had been thinking about, once upon a time, but never actually wrote anything down. I started jotting down notes once The List started running circles in my head, so that I wouldn't forget to come back to it. There are just too many parallels/mirror situations between the two to ignore!
It'll be Justin-centered, for the most part, (I think!) and set in the spring of 2011. Until I actually start writing instead of outlining scenes, and it runs away with me, of course.

As a note, I'm stupidly busy with work prep right now, so it'll be a little while before I get a chance to write for fun again. Everything will get posted here and at AO3 when I do have something new.

In addition, I read the deleted scene, and enjoyed it, but found the insight into your writing process even more fascinating. Thanks for sharing. Those of us who are voracious readers but have never attempted writing appreciate a small window into the creative process.
Totally enjoyable read. Please keep writing!

PS I'm not sure of the date of the getithere post. I was just perusing the recs because I'm currently on a break from school and have time to catch up on my fic reading.

Thank you very much for reading, and for your very kind review! I do still have plans for QAF fic, though I'm a bit of a fandom polymath and I've been writing primarily in the Marvel comics universe this fall. It's such a thrill to get reviews and comments on older things, though, and to know that folks are still reading them. :)
