I have a few philosophical questions...

What is the point of LJ?

And when is one expected to start acting their age?

Who is still friends with the people they lived with when they were 19?

The point of LJ? Getting thoughts out to the world? Community? I love my NPR and Crossing Jordan groups that discuss stuff.

Acting your age? When you no longer get help from your parents/family financially? When you get a "real job?" When you get white hair? Never? I teach 5 year olds. I'm excused cause of my profession.

The people I lived with when I was 19 no, but I was in a forced dorming situation. My 3 best friends from that time who I did not happen to live with until a small bit later... I am still very close to all 3!

When I wrote this e-mail I was annoyed with a 19 year old who I thought wasn't acting as I would have hoped.

Sometimes I think that people who are not old enough to drink yet (the last legal barrier to being truely adult) are still way young at times and don't know it. I know I was, and didn't think I was...
