I received a call from my old friend from high school today. He's back from Japan where he was teaching English and is now pursuing a graduate degree from a university in Hawaii in second language studies. Bodily harm is so much fun :) I can take pictures for you to give to the doctors :) You should run a scrabble tournament one weekend.

Scrabble tournament, huh?
It sounds like it'd be fun, but I doubt I'd be able to generate the interest. The last couple times I've tried to get a game night going, you could almost hear the crickets

Three people and one round do not really a tournament make... :)

Lure people in with the potato soup and then lock the door and get out the spare blankets...that's how the first tournaments are made!

I'm interested in game night, so is B, but we could probably make it about once a month...do a whole days worth of games, break it up with a movie and a few food runs....I could volunteer to bake cookies or brownies....
