after a weekend filled with homework (and homemade pizza), tonight was the real vacation, featuring "the elephant man" on dvd. horribly depressing, very lynch in both style and motif, perfect placement of barber's adagio for strings, and one of the best performances i've seen of hopkins (i doubt anything will top "shadowlands" for me ( Read more... )

i know, technology is such a strange thing.

i have an mp3 player & i use it like crazy, but its just not the 'ipod' which is like quite a bit more efficient & is capable of holding a much higher capacity of songs. i have a feeling that eventually i'll make the leap.

if you get it for yourself as a christmas gift, you'll feel less guilty about the purchase. :)

i have a mini and it's perfect.

i can relate to the lack of tangibility. i usuallly buy stacks of new discs per month and immediately just rip them into itunes. liner notes... jewel cases... these concepts are dead to me
