It's been awhile . . .
Structured writing wasn't quite getting it. The Artist's Way is great and I'm likely to get back to it at a later date, but I'm no longer gung-ho to respond to it each morning or evening.
Today I read a note from a past teacher praising my work - anote I don't remember ever having read before. But I have to have read it . . . it was printed out ( Read more... )

When I first joined Toastmasters, I was petrified of the evaluations, because I felt so fragile about being criticized in any way. But what I have found is that the evaluations actually DO make me a better speaker. Now I look forward to them - even those I consider a bit harsh. I LOVE that I can do that now!
