things were going well

The wedding came together - and everyone had a good time. The honeymoon was great. I got another teaching job, so next semester will be much better finanacially. I'm working on a conference paper. Went to El Chamber, and had a great time - totally insipired to go back on a more regular basis. Finished my saturday classes, so I have extra time ( Read more... )

Sorry 'bout the car. I'm an advocate of welding 6" spikes on the front and rear bumpers of all cars to discourage a-holes from ramming them while parked. Further, it lends a certain authority to your actions when you try to beat a yellow light at the intersection.

now that's a plan. Maybe I can get the body shop to weld them on during the repairs... 'cause not only are they fixing close to $5000 worth of damage (another $200 and it would have been totaled) - it's still not done.
