I like the way that it is Jack, the tactician, who has the greatest clarity about what is to come as the gate goes public. He's clearly a few steps ahead of the others, even if he doesn't feel he knows how it will all go. And the call back to "Always" is lovely. He's waited a long time to hear it.

Truth be told, *I* don't even really know where this is going to go in the long run, so I'm with Jack. I like playing with the possibilities, but will there ever truly be an end to this? Probably not, because there's just so much to write about and there are a gazillion ways this could all turn out. We'll see.
