I saw this recced on stargateficrec comm. This was lovely, full of gorgeous little details, like the medals, the cookies, the cold floor. I especially liked the image of Sam on the intergalactic ship heading past the ISS and leaving it behind, how free she is and how much she has ahead of her, waiting to be explored.
