Another beautifully-written chapter. I feel so sad for Sephiroth in this that, again, if these were RL people, I'd have a few words for Aeris.

Are the twins about to make their presence known?

Thank you. Aeris is beginning to come around somewhat, behind the pride and the guilt tying up her tongue about important things. Seph's seen her kind of reaction before so he can afford to be a saint about it, but there are specifics he still doesn't know.

It is the twins, of course. Life's about to get more interesting.

Good to know the base is on their side, even if the rest of the world isn't.
Interesting how I've read other post-meteor A/S fics where the general public is absolutely clueless as to what Sephiroth tried to do. They all still think he was a hero who was killed in an accident in Nibelheim.
So Ella doesn't hear the Planet? Do the twins?

Most of the world actually does view them favorably, aside from the shadow organizations and threads of distrust that FFVII always has. While Seph was in one of his afterlife phases there was a plot to blackmail Shinra that revealed some of his early life to the public, along with other classified data. The real details are still known only to a select few, but the world generally thinks he's a tortured soul who couldn't help himself, that Cloud did what he did out of mercy, and that when Seph comes back he must have been in hiding/recovery all along rather than dead like Shinra said. He had more fangirls than ever.;P ( ... )

Well, nice to know the fangirls are satisfied with his happiness, rather than plotting Aeris' second demise. :P
I can't help but picture Aeris doing a number on Rufus to keep her background a secret, rather that siccing her man on him.
Action figures? You went easy on him in your 'verse. Mine has an erotic novel that NONE of Avalanche escaped from. XD

There's always crazies out there but feed most of the fangirls some terrible twilight-style romantic version of events and they'll swoon. ;) Rufus won't dare mess with Aeris. If anything, Seph was the one siccing her on Shinra.
