To the 20% of Madison living in the fuzzy pink cloud of entitlement,
Yes, there's been some buzz recently about Madison's "panhandler problem." No one is denying the poverty problem. However. When shopping on State Street, please refrain from verbally abusing those who work there. We did not put the panhandlers in the Peace Park. We, for the most part, have done nothing to encourage them. And neither raising your voice nor swearing at us will make the ugly scary homeless people disappear. It will just antagonize us, and make you look silly and immature. None of Madison's homeless has ever behaved that badly in our store.
Please either take your holier-than-thou attitude and shove it, or go back to your McMansion and shop online. The scary bums can't get you there.

This is seriously the third or fourth time this has happened in the past few months. It's ridiculous.
