This article absolutely floors me. The "homelessness problem" has been on the radar of the madisonwi community for a little while now, but I had no idea it had gotten that... well, petty. I was considering volunteering at FUMC's food pantry before, I'm certainly going to try now. I've been meaning to start attending services there again, too

There's someone in San Diego (La Jolla actually) who's trying to recruit volunteers to sit on sidewalk benches so homeless people can't sleep on them. What the fuck, indeed.
