Today was slightly surreal.

Of note:

• Masses of red-coat-wearing Chinese (?) people in the store. Mostly young women. Maybe some sort of performance troupe?
  
• A protest march down State Street, featuring two homemade floats, about 20 people, and a single maraca. It was comically sad-looking.
  
• Another march that could have been a protest or an art
