Smoke & Lightning: The 'Verse Contest
So a few of you expressed an interest, and that is enough for us!
Here's how the competition will be played:
Using any characters from the Smoke & Lightning 'verse, you can create a piece of fanfic or a piece of fanart, edit: (including vids!) which you can then send to either

RULES
* Fanfic entries must be no longer than 3000 words (but can also be as short as a drabble if you want!) and saved in either .doc or .txt format.
* Fanart entries must be no larger than 800*600 pixels and saved in either .jpg, .png or .gif format.
edit:* Fanvids are allowed - please provide a download link in your email!
EDIT: I think we'll limit it to two entries, if anyone feels the urge to do more than one!
That's it for rules! Just head your email with the title of your entry, the rating of your entry, and whether it is fanfic or fanart. Attach your file and a short note if you wish, and send it on over.
We'll have a closing date of July 3rd, as that gives everyone just over a month and that is the day that Adorable and I will both be at my home, with access to a computer again. We'll create a poll with all the entries and entrants' names will be kept anonymous. The voting will also be kept anonymous. We'll give everyone a week to vote and then announce the results.
The top three entries as voted by the community members (unless there are ONLY 3 entries, then we'll go with the top 1 ;P) will each win something. If people would like a real, solid prize, then they can send us their postal address afterwards. I do have an idea of something for that, but only if people are willing to share addresses. I won't use it for nefarious purposes and, once something has been sent, the address will be destroyed so nobody else will get a hold of it! But if you're not willing to do that, no problem. I have ideas for more..digital prizes as well. :)
I really hope that as many of you as possible will have a go. We LOVE to see interpretations of these guys in any shape or form!

EDIT: June 3rd - it's been a popular question, so here's the answer for anyone else who needs to know. Kenzie is around 18 in the epilogue. Hope that helps! Jared would be just past 30, Jensen would be coming up to 26 (because we messed with their ages, LOL), Jeffrey would be about 45, Stevie around early-mid thirties (did we ever discuss her age? I don't think we did..), Chris 25, Donna and Rock (Tommy) a few years older than Jeffrey, and Phin would be about Jared's age, obviously.
