CHAPTER TWENTY

Jared was at one of the tables in the window when Jensen arrived. He took the seat opposite, and Jared pushed a plate of food and a mug of coffee across for him. He gratefully took a big bite from the burger and Jared watched, amused, as he polished the whole thing off in the next few minutes.

"Another?" he asked, once Jensen was done.

"Ha ha. I told you I was hungry."

"Better now, though?"

"I'm good. We need to get home sooner rather than later anyway. Holly's arriving tomorrow, we really need to clean up."

"Okay, but tonight we're going out."

"Oh?" Jensen asked. "Are we celebrating?"

"Commiserating," Jared answered, sighing and shaking his head. Jensen felt his stomach drop and nearly kicked himself for assuming.

"I'm sorry, Jay. Maybe we can try again in a year or something? Memo will keep you on, won't he?"

"He doesn't have to."

Now Jensen was confused and Jared was starting to grin. Which was even more confusing, actually. "Exactly what are we commiserating tonight?"

"The fact that we've got so much work to do before my shop is ready for business."

Jared laughed as Jensen nearly knocked the table over trying to pull him over it. He kissed him hard, right there, and pulled back with a huge smile. They both stayed where they were for a moment or two, halfway up from their seats and looking at each other, not even noticing that they were being watched by most people nearby. "God, I'm so proud of you," Jensen said. "I always am, but today..."

"I'm proud of me too," Jared told him, sitting back down. Jensen didn't miss the slight wince he gave and he asked if he was okay. "I'm all right. Think maybe I'd better drag the crutches out some of the time. Is that normal?" He sounded worried and Jensen was quick to reassure him.

"You built your strength back up okay in the hospital and the last few weeks of therapy, but yeah. You're still going to get tired out. Just take it easy, yeah? I'll help with the shop and Memo will too, I'm guessing. We could maybe call Jeff, see if he has any favors he could call in for us, or if he can come help. I bet he would."

"He might. It'd be nice if it was just us doing it though."

Jensen smiled. "I know it would. As long as you promise not to overdo it."

"I promise."

"So where are we going to go celebrate?"

"I'm taking you out to dinner. And then I think a club-"

"Dinner sounds good," Jensen interrupted. "But maybe we can leave the clubbing until Miami? I want to be awake and ready tomorrow. Holly's going to use up a lot of our energy so we need as much as we can get."

"Okay. That sounds like a plan."

After fetching in some groceries, they took all afternoon, with Jared taking the occasional break, to clean the apartment right through. Maya mostly kept out of the way, sleeping in their bedroom while they worked in the other rooms. Jensen rearranged things and made Holly's bed up so it was ready. It made the living room a bit more crowded, but it wasn't impossible to get around. He took Maya out for an early walk while Jared went around and made sure they'd moved everything Holly shouldn't be seeing out of sight. When Jensen returned, Jared told him that Jeff had just called again to make sure that they were ready for her.

"He said that she probably wasn't going to sleep much tonight, so she'll likely be early to bed tomorrow night."

"I think we'll need to be too."

"Mm. So, do I get to see the tattoo now?"

"You already know what it is, Jay."

"I know. I still want to see it. C'mon, I'll help you put some goop on it."

Jensen fetched the stuff for his tattoo from the bathroom and then sat on the floor in front of Jared and pulled his shirt up and off. Jared peeled back the bandage, calling Jensen a wuss when it pulled at the blood that had dried underneath it and he complained.

"Oh, man. That looks way better than I thought it would."

"You got the best guy there to do it, I think." Jensen shivered as Jared touched his fingers to the area around the new ink. They were greasy with tattoo goo and he slowly rubbed it in. "That feels good," Jensen told him.

"Yeah? How good?" Jared had leaned forward now and he kissed Jensen's neck. Finished with the tattoo he moved his hands to Jensen's front, smoothing them over his chest and toying with the bars through his nipples.

"Don't get too excited. We have time for this after dinner."

"You're no fun sometimes," Jared told him. He slapped his hands gently against Jensen's chest and then pulled back altogether. "But you're right. The sooner we go and eat, the sooner we can come back and enjoy ourselves."

They washed off in the bathroom, Jensen taking a careful shower, and changed their clothes to something a little more appropriate for dinner out. Jensen had no idea where Jared planned on taking him, but when he saw that Jared had actually dressed in pants and a dress shirt of his own accord he figured it must be somewhere slightly more upscale than Pizza Hut. Jared had left some clothes out for Jensen, too, and waited in the living room with the TV on while Jensen put them on. He smiled in appreciation when he saw him.

"Looking good," he said, as Jensen twirled the car keys around one finger.

"You too. Where are we going?"

"You'll see when we get there. You'll like it."

Jensen drove while Jared directed them and when he finally pulled up outside the restaurant he wondered if the name was why Jared had chosen it. "J Lounge, huh?"

"Yeah. Oops, didn't tell you we bought up some restaurants in the area too, did I?"

Jensen laughed, shook his head. "Funny. Are we on time?"

Jared checked the clock on the dash. "We have a few minutes. Might take me that long to get to the door though."

"Hmm, or maybe.." Jensen leaned across the front seat, sliding a hand around the back of Jared's neck so that he could pull him in close for a kiss. Jared held him there for a full minute, licking into his mouth and tasting every inch. When they parted, Jensen kept his hand where it was, combing his fingers through Jared's hair. "Thank you," he said, quietly.

"For what? Are we having a moment here?"

"Shut up," Jensen told him. "I just meant thank you for everything. For surviving. I don't know what I'd have done without you."

"The feeling's mutual," Jared told him, sounding more serious now. "You're the reason I fought, Jen. You know that, right?"

"Fuck..." Laughing again, Jensen turned and looked outside. "Are you sure you're hungry? I feel like this is one of those moments that calls for some life-affirming sex."

"Too bad for you I'm in desperate need of steak," Jared told him, opening the passenger side door. "We can do the life-affirming thing later on."

Jensen had to admit, once they were inside, that Jared didn't have bad taste in restaurants at all. The interior was romantic enough, their waitress a complete sweetheart. Though that could have been down to Jared's charm which, Jensen was sure, nobody could resist. They drank beer instead of champagne, despite Jared offering to buy a bottle. Jensen had just one, then switched over to soda, knowing he had to drive them home again. They both ate steak, shared a dessert. They took a while over their coffees, letting the good food settle. While they did, they discussed possible names for Jared's shop, how they might decorate the interior and how they could balance the time so they could spend as much as possible working on it.

Jared knew that Jensen's spare time was limited and he didn't want him to wear himself out working too hard on that when he had his shifts at the hospital to deal with too.

"You have to get some sleep somewhere," he said.

"I know. But I want to do this-"

"Can't do it all, Jen. Didn't you tell me that before?"

Jensen sighed. "So long as you let me help somehow."

"I will, I promise. You can be my stress relief," Jared told him, winking.

They finished their coffees and Jared pulled his wallet out, counted out enough to cover their check along with a generous tip and left the money on the table.

"Ready?"

Jensen was exhausted by the time they got home, got undressed. He thought they needed the rest, knew it would be a busy day tomorrow, but Jared's mouth was warm on his skin, his hands rough and firm, and Jensen couldn't bring himself to care about how tired he might be. He was just happy to see Jared looking more comfortable now, and he was enjoying himself too much. Jared made it last tonight, dragging Jensen to the edge of orgasm and, each time he got close, pulling him back in just enough.

It might have been frustrating before, but now Jensen relished it. They both knew the chances for doing this would be few and far between while Holly was here. Aside from Jensen's habit of being very noisy in bed, they were very aware that the likelihood of Holly staying in her own bed throughout the night, every night, was not that great.

"We may actually have to wear pajamas," Jared had said, when they'd talked about it. "Just in case. Hey, maybe we could ask that Sam lady from your hospital out on a double date. They could keep an eye on Holly and we could both need the bathroom-"

"No more public bathroom sex," Jensen had told him. "I'm sure we'll cope while she's here. And after that we have Miami, right?"

"Oh yeah," Jared agreed. "I might even let you make it to some of your lectures."

Now, with Jared's dick buried balls deep inside him and Jared's tongue sliding over his, Jensen thought maybe the lectures weren't so important anyway.

"Jay! C'mon, we need to go!"

Jared appeared at the door to their bedroom, just pulling his leather jacket on. He looked like he was limping slightly and Jensen told him to get his crutches out and not to overdo it. He pulled a face at that. "Meeting Holly on crutches wasn't part of my plan."

"Plan's changed," Jensen told him. "Holly won't be surprised that you're on them considering the last time she saw us."

"Ugh. I'll use them when we get back."

Jensen rolled his eyes, fetched the crutches from their new spot behind the TV. He held them out. "You'll use them now," he said. "Doctor's orders."

"Jesus, you're so bossy," Jared told him, slipping his hands through the plastic loops and gripping the crutches.

Jensen kissed him. "You love it."

Jared couldn't argue with that. He followed Jensen, slowly, down to where the car was parked and got in, putting the crutches on the back seat for now. "You think she'll even sleep tonight?" he asked.

"God, I hope so."

They made it to the airport in plenty of time, Jensen standing near the arrivals gate while Jared sat and rested. Holly's flight had landed, but they knew it might take her a little longer since she would be with a chaperone from the airline. Jensen saw her first, turned to tell Jared and found that he was already on his feet and grinning widely. When she spotted them she left her chaperone behind, tugging her hand free and running over to them. Jared had left his crutches by his seat and he got to her first, lifting her up in both arms and hugging her tightly.

"Hey, Holly-bee!" he cried, kissing her cheek. She let him and then wriggled around in his hold until he let her down. It was Jensen's turn, she'd decided, and he gave her the same treatment that Jared had, but kept a hold of her. The chaperone, standing nearby, smiled at both of them. She had Holly's luggage with her and Jensen took that with his free hand, thanking the young woman for looking after the little girl.

"So how was the flight, princess?" Jared asked, as they moved away from the gathering crowd of arriving passengers.

"Crutches," Jensen said, before Holly could answer.

"Yeah, yeah," Jared replied, half-hearted. He did pick them up, though, leaned his weight into them as he walked alongside Jensen and Holly back to the car. He asked Holly again about the flight. "Did you enjoy it?"

"Taking off was fun!" Holly told him. "But I didn't like the wobbly bits."

Jared chuckled. "Aw, Hol, nobody likes those parts."

"We got a nice sandwich though."

"Yeah? So you're not hungry right now?"

"Um. Why?"

"It's cool. We'll have dinner later on. We got a special dinner out planned for you."

They were back at the car after a few more minutes, and Jensen unlocked it and loaded Holly's suitcase into the passenger seat. Jared got in the back with Holly and listened as she talked non-stop, all the way to their apartment, about her journey to get here. Jensen was pretty sure she didn't leave anything out.

At home, Holly noticed immediately that they'd changed some things around. She fussed Maya's ears as Jensen put her suitcase on the kitchen table and grabbed the phone. "Uncle Jensen?"

"What's up, Hol?"

"Please can I have a drink?"

Jensen passed the phone to Jared, who was stowing his crutches away again, and told him to call Jeff and Stevie to let them know that Holly was safe with them. He then rooted around in the fridge for one of the juice drinks they'd bought the previous day. "Here," he told her, passing her the carton. He watched, amused, as she stayed where she was to drink it. "You can sit down if you want."

"I'm all right."

Jared held the phone away from his ear, asked Holly to say hello to her mommy, just to let her know how the trip was. He joined Jensen in the kitchen as the little girl chatted away on the phone for a few minutes, slipping an arm around Jensen's waist and kissing his cheek. "I think Jeff might've been lying about her needing an early night," he said.

"She'll sleep," Jensen told him. "We'll put some sleeping pills in her dinner."

Jared snorted out a laugh at that. "You're a bad man."

"Learned from the best," Jensen said, winking. Holly turned to them then, held the phone out for Jared to take again. He finished up the conversation and hung up, then asked Holly what she wanted to do for now.

"Daddy packed me some DVDs," she answered. "Can we watch some of those?"

"We can watch one," Jared said. "Then you're having a bath and dressing up."

Holly pulled a face. "Why?" she asked, drawing the word out.

"Because we're taking you out to eat dinner somewhere fun. Uncle Jensen's idea."

"Rock cafe?" Holly said, sounding distracted.

"Somethin' like that. Hard Rock Cafe, you'll like it there, they have a giant guitar out front and..." He trailed off, realizing that Holly wasn't even listening. She was on her tiptoes by the kitchen table now, had unzipped her suitcase and was in the process of pulling everything out onto the table's surface. "Whoa, hold on, what're you doing?" He was quick to still her hands, before she upended the entire thing.

"Looking for the DVDs," Holly told him. "Daddy said he put Ice Age in there!"

"Well, how about we unpack that somewhere else, huh?"

"Where?"

"I cleared a drawer out in our room," Jensen said, squeezing Jared's arm. "Let's get this through there." He picked everything up and carried it through, dropped it onto his and Jared's bed and began sorting through it. Holly followed, clambered up onto the bed and found the DVDs in amongst her clothes and toiletries.

"Can I go watch this?" she asked, holding up the one she'd wanted.

"Sure, go ask Jay to put it on for you."

Bouncing off the bed, Holly knocked the clock from Jared's nightstand and looked at Jensen with wide eyes as he sighed. "Sorry," she said, her voice small.

"It's fine. Go and watch the movie, I'll put your stuff away. And be careful, okay?"

She nodded, hurrying from the room like she thought he might change his mind and tell her off after all. He folded her clothes into the drawer he'd emptied, hung up a couple of the outfits as well. Her toiletries bag he put in the bathroom and, when the case was empty, he brought her pajamas and teddy bear through to the living room and left them on the fold-out bed that was already made up. The movie was only a few minutes in and Holly was underneath Jared's arm, cuddled in against his side as she watched. Jensen leaned over the back of the couch and kissed Jared's temple, asked if he wanted a drink.

"I'm good. You joining us?"

"I'm going to take Maya out for a walk. You'll be okay, right?"

Jared chuckled. "I reckon so."

"See you soon." Jensen called Maya to follow him, fetching her lead from its hook by the door. Holly shouted a goodbye as Jensen shut the door behind him.

Holly wanted to put another movie on as soon as Ice Age had finished and it took Jensen manhandling her off the couch and carrying her into the bathroom to make her stop asking. He sat her down on the toilet seat and started running some water into the tub. He poured in some bubble bath, and wondered if Jared would toss a coin for who got the privilege of actually getting her in the water. Holly watched as he stood and went to the door, stayed quiet and right where she was. He looked out into the living room and saw that Jared's head was resting against the back of the couch and that he'd dozed off.

Ah, well, he thought. "C'mon, Holly. Let's do this nice and quiet so your big brother can get some rest."

"Is Jay okay?" Holly asked, as Jensen started to tug his shirt off. She was pulling at her socks, her t-shirt already heaped on the floor next to the tub. Jensen put his own shirt in the laundry basket, knowing that if he tried to wear it while getting Holly bathed and her hair washed it would end up wetter than she did.

"He's all right," Jensen reassured her. "He's still got a bit of recovering to do. That was a bad accident he was in."

"I know. But he is okay, isn't he?"

He looked at her properly this time, saw the worry on her young face. He held out his arms and she got up, clutched at his waist as he hugged her tight. "I promise he's all right," he told her, stroking her hair. "Hey, don't you think I should know?"

She nodded, sighing deeply. "I guess."

"You guess?"

"Yeah."

"Well, I suppose that's enough. In the bath, then."

Holly made a face, but finished undressing and got into the water without too much argument. Maybe her worry over Jared had taken any fight out of her. Jensen figured on using the time constructively and while she splashed around in the tub he took the opportunity to shave and brush his teeth. By the time he was done with that, Holly had made a puddle of water on the tiled floor beside the bath and was laid down with her hair floating out around her. Jensen got her to sit up and helped wash her hair for her, rinsing it out with the shower.

Once she was wrapped up in a towel he let her go to wake Jared up and tell him that it was time to get ready for going out. She dashed through to the living room, ignoring his telling her not to run with wet feet, and hopped up onto the couch next to Jared. He was, thankfully, already awake again, and he grabbed her and held her over his knees, cackling as she squealed at him to let her go.

"Oh no! Holly's been captured by the giant Jay-monster!"

Holly just squealed even louder at that, kicking and flailing when he resorted to tickling. Jensen watched for a few minutes, wondering at Jared's sanity when his lover started making motorcycle engine noises, but when Holly came too close to nearly knocking things over he stepped in and rescued her, held her over one shoulder and tried to drown out the sound of her yelling as he spoke.

"Jay, you going to get ready?"

"Are you?"

"Relax, I'm putting a clean shirt on."

"You ruin all my fun," Jared told him. "Hang on and let me get my stuff. I need to shave."

"Wait a second, you can help me pick out a dress for Holly here."

"A dress?" Holly complained. "Why do I have to wear a dress?"

"Because your mom packed you plenty of them so you're going to wear them. And if you don't, I might just set the Jay-monster on you again."

Eyeing Jared warily, Holly considered that. "Okay," she agreed. "Just this once."

It was still light enough when they set out for the Hard Rock, although Jensen knew it wouldn't stay that way for long. It did mean, however, that they had plenty of light to take good photos by, a fact that he took full advantage of. Jared hefted Holly up onto his shoulders and Jensen took a picture of them with the enormous guitar outside. Holly was even more enthralled by the interior, of course, wide-eyed and pointing at everything as soon as they were through the door. They were shown to a table and ordered drinks - milkshakes for Holly and Jensen, beer for Jared - before looking over the menu. Holly looked thrilled to be there, kicking her legs back and forth under the table as she gazed at nearby diners with a wide smile. They'd finally talked her into a pale blue dress and Jared had put her hair in pigtails, something which their waitress commented on immediately, cooing about how cute she looked to both men. After that, Holly didn't seem too annoyed that they'd made her dress up.

"Do you know what you want to eat, pipsqueak?" Jared asked, eyeing her over the top of his menu.

She pretended to consider it, studying the menu with a deep frown, until Jensen suggested maybe just a burger and fries. She nodded enthusiastically, folding her menu closed and settling back in her seat. While they waited for their food, Jensen asked Holly how school was going, who her friends were there, and what her favorite lesson was.

"I like art," she said. "When Johnny Kane comes over, mommy lets us paint stuff in the kitchen. He's not very good though, but Uncle Chris says that's because he's younger than I am and he'll get better."

"Well, what do you paint?"

"Ponies and Mommy and Daddy. Kenzie was looking after us one time and she let us paint on her binder for college. Phin said mine was really good."

"Well, duh," Jared drawled, as Jensen said,

"Phin comes over too?"

Holly was playing with her napkin as she answered, "Uh-huh. They always come over together."

Jensen glanced at Jared, but ignored the warning look he was given. "Really? How come?"

Holly wrinkled her nose, looked up at Jensen. "They hold hands on the couch."

Butting in, Jared tried to lighten the situation by pointing out that Holly held hands with Johnny sometimes, right?

"Yeah, but we don't kiss!" she protested.

Jensen already had his cell phone out, and Holly watched as Jared reached across and caught his hand. "What're you doing?"

"Calling Kenzie right now."

"What the fuck for? Heck. Sorry, Holly," Jared apologized, glancing at her and then looking back at Jensen in disbelief. "What the heck for?"

"Find out why she lied to me."

Holly's eyes went wider still at that and she too reached across, trying to get Jensen's phone from him. "Uncle Jensen, I promised not to tell you!"

"But you did. It's okay, honey, you're not going to get in trouble for-" He cut off as Jared managed to snatch his phone away, gaped as he shoved it in his pocket with a triumphant noise. "Why'd you do that?"

"Because I don't want you yelling at your sister down the phone while we're out to dinner. Call her later and yell then. Just think before you do."

"What's to think about? She told me that her and Phin weren't doing anything."

"Maybe because she knew you'd be like this about it? Phin's not a bad guy, okay, and Kenzie's old enough to make her own mind up. She ain't twelve anymore, Jensen."

"Well, she should be." Jensen knew how he sounded, but it didn't stop him from glaring when Jared laughed at him.

"Well, she ain't," his partner mocked. "And she could be making way worse choices."

"Phin's your age," Jensen insisted. "Doesn't that seem wrong to you?"

"Not like it'd be the first Ackles relationship with an age gap," Jared pointed out. "Look, just calm down and enjoy your dinner. Call her with a clear head and give her a chance to explain. All right?"

Jensen huffed, but knew Jared was making sense. "Fine."

After dinner and ice cream, Jensen drove them home. Holly sat quietly in the back with Jared, her brand new Hard Rock baseball cap hanging off one side of her head, dozing off and startling awake all the way. "I feel like a soccer mom," Jensen muttered, catching Jared's eye in the rear-view mirror. "Don't even say anything," he warned, as Jared's mouth twitched into a grin.

"I won't. Hey, that was fun, right?"

"Hmm."

"C'mon, it's not like all the ice cream went on you." Jared looked down at his own shirt, and the pinkish stain across the center of it. "And the waitress thought it was funny."

"Only because you made me leave her an enormous tip. I think we should get take-out or cook at home the rest of the time Holly's here."

"She's just excited, that's all. You know what she's like."

"I think the word is 'boisterous'," Jensen said.

"You want to get boisterous with me later?" Jared asked, raising his eyebrows. "I reckon Holly will sleep through anything now."

Jensen didn't even answer that. He pulled in to park outside the door of their garage and Jared nudged Holly awake, got her out of the car. Jensen wound up carrying her upstairs, and Jared unlocked the door so they could go inside. Once in, he put Holly down and told her she needed to go and wash her face, brush her teeth and get into her PJs and then it was definitely time for bed. When she was in the bathroom, the light on and the door wide open, Jared put his arms around Jensen from behind and pulled him in, leaning his head on Jensen's shoulder.

"You're not really mad, are you?" he asked.

Jensen relaxed, sighed. "No, of course I'm not. I just hope not every day's like this."

"And what if it is? This is what kids are like, Jen."

"That's what worries me." Jensen tilted his head to the side, closing his eyes and moaning quietly as Jared mouthed at his neck. "Am I crazy?" he asked. "Thinking we can take care of Matty?"

Jared stopped what he was doing at that, pulled back slightly though he kept his arms tightly around Jensen. "We can do it. That's completely different. Holly's here on holiday, Matty won't be."

"Yeah. You're right."

"Hey, you're talking to me. I'm always right. Especially about Kenzie and Phin. Just call your sister, tell her that you know, that she doesn't have to keep it a secret anymore and leave it at that. They might work out, they might not, but either way it needs to be her decision. You try butting in and she won't thank you for it, trust me."

Jensen nodded. He knew Jared was right. "Sorry for over-reacting," he said.

"Hey, if you hadn't then I would have worried." Jared let him go then and Jensen opened his eyes, smiling when he saw Holly standing at the bathroom doorway in her pajamas. She looked sleepy, but she obediently sat at the kitchen table while Jared took the bands off her pigtails and brushed her hair out. "Okay, all done," he told her, once he was finished. "Time for bed."

She got up and Jared bent down and hugged her, kissed her cheek and said goodnight. "Thank you for dinner," she said, sounding tired.

"No problem, sweetheart."

"Can Uncle Jensen tell me a story?"

Jared looked up at Jensen, who shrugged and nodded. "Sure, but only a short one."

"I'll go get the bed warm," Jared told him, heading for their bedroom.

Jensen got Holly into her bed and started a story he knew well was one of her favorites, but he'd only been telling it for two minutes when he looked up and found that she was sleeping soundly already. He leaned over and kissed her forehead, pulled the covers up, and left her alone. Jared was on the phone when he pushed the bedroom door to behind him. He told whoever he was talking with to wait one second and lifted the phone away from his mouth. "That was quick," he said.

"She's fast asleep already. Who's on the phone?"

"I called your sister, thought I'd give her the good news."

Jensen didn't say anything to that, just held out his hand as he neared the bed. Jared passed the phone to him, although he looked reluctant about doing so.

"Kenzie?"

There was a short silence, then his sister replied, "Mm?"

"Why didn't you just tell me?"

"I don't know, maybe because you didn't seem very keen on the idea? You do remember what you said to me about it, don't you?"

"I'm your big brother," he said. "I'm meant to say stuff like that. Does Mom know? And Rock?"

"It's not like I can keep it a secret round here," Kenzie said. "Hell, even Dad knows. I think he's given up being an asshole about it, finally. He knows he's not gonna win."

"You're not doing it just to annoy him, are you?"

Kenzie let out an exasperated sigh at that. "Of course not. I actually really like Phin, all right? I don't know what you think about him, but he's a really sweet guy. Yes, he's rough around the edges, but so is Jared. And he was a lot rougher when you started dating him. Phin looks after me, he makes sure I'm safe whenever we go out, and if I need to study he just lets me. If I don't, then..well-"

"Okay, I don't need to hear that you're having sex with him. Please."

"Prude," Kenzie told him, and Jensen knew from the tone of her voice that she was closer to amused than annoyed now.

"It's not my fault that in my mind you're still my little sister."

"I bet you imagine me with little pigtails, drawing hearts around his name on my exercise books, don't you?"

"Oh, shut up," he grumbled.

"So... Are we cool?"

Jensen pinched the bridge of his nose and nodded, even though Kenzie couldn't see that. "Yeah," he told her. "We're cool. Just tell him that if he hurts you then he'll have me to answer to."

"Can't I threaten him with Jay instead? I think that'd be more convincing-"

"I can always just disown you as my sister y'know. Wouldn't take much doing."

Kenzie was too busy laughing to hear him so he gave in and said goodbye, waiting until she'd hung up before he ended the call. Jared watched while he stripped down to underwear and then held his arms out when Jensen got into bed with him.

"All sorted?" he asked.

"All sorted. Although apparently you've been chosen to kick Phin's ass if he breaks my sister's heart."

"Like that's gonna happen."

"Hey, we committed in case you've forgotten. You want anymore of this fine ass then you're gonna have to kick Phin's if I ask."

"Mm, man I love it when you're all annoyed and shit."

"You can just reign in that horniness right now. We're not doing anything with Holly only in the next room." Jensen gasped, his mouth falling open as Jared ignored him, reaching down to grab his dick through his shorts.

"Really? So are you gonna stop me?" He was moving his fingers now, easing them under the elastic of the shorts now until he had Jensen in his hand. "C'mon. You can be quiet, I know you can."

Against his better judgement, Jensen spread his legs a little wider. He let out a shaky breath. "You... You're gonna be the death of me."

NEXT

And while we're here, we'd like to thank everyone who took part in interviewing the characters during last week. The interview posts will stay up on the community (the Phin interview is locked to members only to save bandwidth) and have been added to the master post. The Jensen and Jared interview on Sunday was definitely the most fun we've had! (And they're still open to questioning if anybody has anything else to ask. Also...we may not have seen the last of them. ;))
