Understandable. The first ob-gyn I met here in town was like "get off the Lexapro". I laughed and promptly found a new office AND a psychiatrist (solely for prescription purposes) that was comfortable with antidepressants during pregnancy. I stayed on 10mg of Lexapro during both pregnancies and my midwife didn't bat an eye.

I was on zoloft from 6 months on (and continue to be on it). I worried about what side effects it might have, but when trying to grow a baby sanity isn't really optional. Likewise, I required 2 inhalers and with all of my crunchy friends scaring me into thinking I was making a terrible mistake, I really had to just come to terms with breathing not being optional either.
