I just saw a Wellesley professor on the WCSH news! Chip Case was talking about the economic effects of a tax cap. It's a shame I didn't get to take any classes with him

We get to see Ortiz play first and Pedro bat. Hee hee hee. Interleague play amuses me.
And it was intensely amusing. Pedro was grinning when he walked after striking out in his first two at-bats. Hey, get on base any way you can :)
Ortiz played a good game at first, actually; he and Manny played great defense (surprising, really, since neither of them is any damn good in the field most of the time). Did you see that throw from Manny that went all the way to home plate and Varitek tagged out Walker to save a run? Awesome. The only one on the team who is consistently sucky in the field is Bill Mueller. At least 3 errors the other night, possibly 4, all on him. Ugh. But batting he really comes through in the clutch.
I saw Tek tag out Walker, I didn't see the other play except for on the NESN recap this morning (early to bed, what with having to get up at 5:45am to commute to work). I couldn't believe they actually walked Pedro. I mean, come on! Not that I'm complaining, of course
