Tahoe and beyond?

I went to South Lake Tahoe for an oral interview. I think I did a great job, however, they will not have any full-time positions open until Feb, and since its a small county, I doubt they will hire many people. Yea, county jobs are not good right now. In Orange County, they're actually going to be LAYING OFF a ton of social workers because they just don't have the budget for it. So glad I didn't further pursue working there!

And just to second that, even though you don't have a job yet, we are the youngest, and we totally rule! :-P

They just announced today in Bakersfield that they are implementing a hiring freeze on all county employments, so even if I wanted to work in Bakersfield I wouldn't be able to get a job currently.

I am in the top 5 on the eligibility list for Tahoe (I'm #2) so I just have to wait for someone to retire, die, or quit.

And yes we do rule, but you rule more than I ever will because not only are you THE youngest by a few months, you also have a job.hehe.
