I happened upon your journal amidst some math stuff. I used to be a part-time teacher in Hawaii. This whole Björk, bones, and Ezekiel reminds of when my friend asked me if Sarah McLachlan's song, "Witness," had any religious undertones, and I rummaged through the Gospels and figured that maybe the song is from the perspective of the person who carried the cross for Jesus that Day. I wrote a lengthy essay on it, which wasn't really what she expected, nor I; I went overboard. I need to find that essay...
By the way...Hi, my name is John. I love your Björk icons!
Its really interesting where regious references pop up. (not that Bjork was referencing Ezekiel). Maybe because we are all looking for the same thing and so similar themes show up as are in the Bible. Anyway its an interesting topic. Thanks for the comment.
You're welcome. :) The bones passage also reminded me of the time when I read 1 Corinthians 12 in Chapel, a passage about the body as one, how everything just kind of fit together. The Bible does have a lot of important themes and invariable meanings. I forgot most of what I studied in grade schooling, though.
