Ah, September 10th. Late that night in 2001 Jeff and I were on the phone having the "what are we" talk . Being a happy new couple we talked for hours and watched the sun come up. I got about an hour of sleep before my 8am Chem class, which I was late for. We all worked in the lab through the morning, unknowing of the devistation that was taking place. I fell asleep as soon as I came back to my dormroom. I woke up hours later and turned the tv on to the image of the twin towers. I had only been at Hood for 2 weeks and was close to noone, but we leaned on one another anyway. By that point in the day rumors had already started flying about the intended destination of the plane that went down in Somerset, PA (which was 45 minutes from Jeff). People were saying that it was targeting Fort Detrick (which I then found out was filled with nasty chemicals and such) or Camp David (I had no idea that the two were so close). So, this is probably really creepy for me to leave you a comment, since I haven't spoken to you in probably... 6 or 7 years, but that is the beauty of the internet, and never having deleted your name from my IM list (Sparty003). I'm hoping you'll still remember me, if not my ego shall be bruised. I checked out your portfolio page, and am quite impressed especially since the last time I really talked to you was at Math Camp. Glad to see that you are doing well, I just wanted to say hello.
Carol! Of course I remember you! How are you? What have you been up to since CMST? I've been terrible about keeping in touch with people... though I actually ran into Emily Ferry at the Ren Fest last weekend.
