Your intentions are very real and mature. It's always hard to know how to go about reacting to ones feelings. It's often hard to not feel selfish, since no act is a selfless act. It's even more mature that you realize selfish acts, especially the ones that include you realizing that you feel ill towards a person because of your own fears.

I really enjoyed this entry. It was very mature and honest. I applaud you.
