It's funny. When Disney's Hercules came out, I had trouble enjoying it for what it was because even though it was funny and had (mostly) good characters, I spent most of the movie going "Yeah, that's totally not how Greek mythology actually goes..." Now I'm rewatching Anastasia (because why not?) and it turns out I've learned a lot more about ( Read more... )

I still haven't watched Hercules. I want to go back and watch all the Disney movies I haven't seen. At the Alen Menken concert, Menken talked about Hercules and Newsboys, so I want to watch both of those now.

I love Anastasia XD but... it's obviously not even historical fiction level... so... I figured the accuracy was about this much.
