Having lost a lot of pets, I know how you feel. Even though she died over night, I'm sure she knew how much you loved her. Your dad was right to take her to the vet, and I'm sure they did all they could. I'm sorry you didn't get to say goodbye. I know how big of a shock it can be.

I don't know if you remember my dog, Sprite, but she died in a similar way. My mom took her to the vet, and the vet told us she'd be fine. She died the day my mom was supposed to pick her up, from an unexpected infection after surgery. I was so excited to see her, and it was a horrible shock to know that she was gone.

*Hugs* It sucks so so much losing a pet. I hope you feel better soon.

This can't be! I'm soOo sorry. It will be ok, it's just going to take some time. I still think about my puppy Sam, who accidentally killed himself. I felt like something words can't express. To this day I think about him, but that's what I cherish most: Sweet Memories.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. We lost our dog Sweet Pea in a similar way (overnight, from an enlarged spleen). Like Elena said, I've lost a lot of pets, but it doesn't get easier, does it?

Hugs.
