UK Update

Hi from the UK

We have done a mighty lot in the few days we have been here. *waves*

Miss Jo picked us up at Manchester airport. What a loooong 28 hours flying that was. My bum was certainly numb. Had to make sure it was still attached whenever I got up. :(  But it has all been worth it. And then some.

Had morning tea at Chatsworth House in the Peak ( Read more... )

Yeesh, you've been busy! But good. I highly approve of several of these things for getting a good impression of Britain. And now you can really appreciate my post from Bath at about the same time last year: http://brutti-ma-buoni.livejournal.com/171541.html!

Hope the rest of your time is as fun, and that Jo feels much better - how miserable to be having trouble walking just now.

Hey you! You’ve been a busy girl! Sounds like you’ve done some wonderful things - Avebury is fabulous - and I’m looking forward to hearing more about these adventures in a couple of days. I’m really excited about seeing you and Jo! I’m finding it really weird to have you on this side of the globe with us!

Weather down here has been sunny, on and off, but quite misty on occasion, too. Hopefully it will stay dry for you.

Give Jo a hug for me, and I hope she gets better soon. It’s rotten to be having such trouble when you’re out and about.

Wow, you've done a lot!!

The Forest of Dean reminds me of Harry Potter. And it's awesome that you stayed at a place called Angel Cottage.

How much longer are you there for?

The Angel Cottage is the place to stay! It's central to all those wonderful neolithic places, plus, its hosts are great people, and the decor and amenitie are super.

The Forest of Dean was stark, and looked just like in Harry Potter.

That's good stuff, and lots of it! (Except Jo's knee. Indeed words must be said.)

I smiled at your horse experience. They're amazing creatures - even those who have a natural fear of them sometimes fall under their spell.

Thanks for the update! Hope the rest of your time is just as good!

I love horses, only I am afraid of being trodden on. Horses are such intelligent creatures, and know this. :)

Jo's knee is better, not 100%, but better than it was, thank you.
