I liked it. I guessed that it wasn't Angel, but I thought Spike. Interesting that so much of her relationship with her father wasn't that dissimilar in the broadest sense than her relationship with Angel.

You're right, except that Angel is there when she needs him. For her mother's funeral for one. Where was Hank? Surely he would have been there to give support to his daughters?

Glad I had you fooled, even if only that it was Spike.

Very moving. I always like seeing fic that addresses Buffy's relationship with her father - the show left it so open.
