Drabble - A Dark Place

Jun 23, 2013 19:58

Writers Toybox http://writers-toybox.livejournal.com/  has posted four prompts.
One of them gave me an idea for a drabble.

I know It's been a long while since I posted anything like a drabble or story, and I wonder if there are any of you out there reading Buffy and Angel?

If not then these 100 words are for my own satisfaction.

I made you shiver! You, writer of Nature of the Beast.

:~))))

And in particular, the daytime world is a very shining place to the likes of Angel.

Thank you.

Here I am, I'm there and I always read Buffy and Angel.

Beautiful! ..I liked the comparison with Liam child and our times that seem golden. But Angel knows that it is only an appearance, he knows what moves in the night ..he himself tinted of red blood European nights, for a long, long time.

he was the dark place

Love it!

Thank you, Janas.

I am pleasantly surprised at the number of comments I have.
I see I will have to apply myself and write more.

I'm glad you liked the comparison I made with Liam and our world.

Im always on the hunt for b/a storys! loved the 100 words above. no one but Angel can comprehend or measure bad times and darkness like he can.
As there's not the mass of new storys being being posted every day/week like there was once upon a time it makes seeing a new post of work even more special

Goodness. Or should that be badness?

:)

So glad you're here and that you liked my wee drabble.

There's nobody like Angel who knows the darkness.

I can see myself writing again.

Thank you.

There are still lots of us around, Ares. And when we have good stuff to read, it encourages us to stay…

Love the drabble, sweetie. Angel has been around so long, and seen so much - it must seem a very different world to what he grew up with.

And Angels as the dark place? Inspired, my dear. Well done!

Thank YOU for the prompt. It reached out and slapped me across the head. I love it when prompts inspire a story like that.

So happy you like it.

Must do more.

Slapping across the head is what I do best, sweetie…

So be warned. We need more stories from you if you are not to have a permanent headache…

Angel IS the darkness. Born in darkness - into darkness, he's seen and lived through copious amounts of it. Everything else pales in comparison.

Love it!

Thanks for sharing, Ares. Good to see you writing again!

Thank you. I have been absent from fandom writing of late. And I do love writing Angel.

Angel is the darkness. Yes. I love that about him. Danger wrapped up in a pretty package.
