Marth himself felt a bit strange as well. It had been two whole years for him but only a night for her. He'd forgotten her voice and was beginning to forget the way she looked. It was a horrible and rather frightening realization, and even worse, realizing that he soon would forget how Altea smelled, looked, and felt. He shuttered at the thought as he pulled open the apartment doors. This was the closest place he had to home; the castles, the bazaar, the knights. None of this technology business, just the pure and simple life he knew.

Clutching a box of tea in his hands, the prince knocked on his sister's door. He had donned a blue tunic before he left his apartment. The outfit was one of his favorites and managed to survive the war reasonably well.

She had only first begun to imagine how Marth must have felt, trapped in a world that he truly did not belong in. She had heard enough from the man of the Great Room of White to know how drastic the variation would be carried between this... habitat and her home of Altea ( ... )

It was as if everything of the past two years no longer mattered, that he was still the 18-year-old prince that his older sister had remembered. He gripped the box a bit then gave in.

He flung his arms around his older sister, about to cry from the happiness of seeing her again. "I've missed you so much, more than words or actions could possibly describe." He held her tightly, as if letting go would destroy the illusion which stood before him. But if this were some twisted illusion, it was certainly real, down to the sweet smell of her hair.

To say surprise did not hold her would not have been true. It reminded her of when Marth was younger, before he had the confidence to believe in his own strength. There were those times when he would fall down and injure himself. To run crying to his sister, who would address his wounds with her staff and silence his tears with the simple upturn of her lips. Surely, she could not do the same in this moment. He was older, and yet it seemed as though he still viewed her in that same light.

He had not been exaggerating in the least. He had missed her. He had longed to see her. Unsure of what to do initially, her instincts kicked in again. Her arms enfolded him against her to soothe him. His actions held her at bay, in terms of responses from the tongue. Then she spoke again, heartfelt and caring, placing aside her own minimal and meager uncertainties.

"I am quite pleased to see you as well," she said as her smile grew. "It is rather nice to be so appreciated."
