I haven't been to the beach in winter since I was a kid and your post reminded me of why it was so much fun. I'll have to return at some point.

A few years ago I went with an Aunt to Ocean City in early March (which is still practically freezing in MD/DE) and it was awesome. I remember drawing in the wet sand in some loose jeans and a ravelly sweater and everything was the nicest shade of grey.

I love cold beaches, I wish I could enjoy it with you, too. :3
