*an armistice. What dumbass would confide in the God of War? Hercules. Only he would so recklessly consent to anything with even a sprinkling of goodwill about the edges from Ares, an imperfection in the champion

Hebe looks from the feather and then up at her husband again. If ever there was a sign that there could be no more waiting; that had been it.
She leans over and brushes a kiss across Herc's cheek, and then closes her eyes, and transports herself to her brother's temple. Where-ever he is, that's the best place for her to try and seek him along their bond; to be there surrounded by everything him.
She opens her eyes and takes a few quick breaths to settle herself; glancing around the hallway, before pushing open the worn and battered doors to his private chambers.
Hercules mumbles in his sleep, and an arm reaches out for his wife. A few moments of fumbling fails to find Hebe in reach, and his eyes blink open.
"Dia?" He looks around. No Hebe. But there is a bronze feather on the bed. He looks at it, puzzled for a moment before he realizes the meaning.
She can handle things. He knows this. Hebe can be damned formidable if she puts her mind to it. That doesn't stop him from worrying. He gets out of bed and starts dressing quickly. Light leather armor won't provide much protection, but he can get it on quickly.
* Looks up at him from her sitting position blinking, before scrambling to her feet and facing him formally, she offers a comforting yet tired smile. *
I can't really explain any of this.
* retrieves the dagger from where she had finally dropped it. *
Well I can explain the outfit, the blood and the dagger to some extent but everything else...
* drops her head avoiding his eyes, not entirely sure how he will take what she is going to say. *
I needed to be here for myself then once I got here I couldn't leave your steps. I think my husband may have bound me to you in spite of the kitchen incident. I'm sorry.
* raises her eyes wearily preparing to be sent away. *
*walking past the dagger and Goddess, who sprang to attention as he strode by, though he does listen as she illustrates her reasoning for her presence.. Head lofted high, cracking a few of the snarling joints in his neck before he began manually lifting capsized objects from Hebe's rage. Not yet responding to her. Flidais' distraction and the fragrance of Hebe all across his temple masked her current attendance*
The room is mostly as she'd left it. Hebe casts her eyes over the disarray, and then closes her eyes.
First is the feel the bond, open things back up a little, from the abrupt shut down when Herc had come home. After that it's a seeking, trying to find that part of the connection that would let her just transport to him.
But the bond is confused and layered and entangled and she ends up opening her eyes gasping.
Maybe his rooms are the wrong place...
Hebe wanders back out into the hall, and heads towards the temple's great room.
He finishes dressing and looks at his weapons, but decides not to take one. Ares can out-fight him with any weapon made... but not bare-handed. And he's not going to fight Ares anyway. He's just there to support Dia if she needs it.
He prepares to transport himself, then realizes there's only one small problem. He doesn't know where she is.
He'll try Ares temple first. If she's not there, then he'll panic.
