Okay so as you can see, I got distracted halfway through writing the bios because I have seven characters. I WILL FILL THEM OUT BEFORE THE VIRUS, I PROMISE.
Tamaki Suou

Tamaki's father's family is extremely old and extremely pureblood. They're not as prejudiced as some, but when his father had spent a few years in the Ministry and was at a good age to settle down, well, he couldn't marry a muggle, could he? A half-blood, well, a lot of them are fine upstanding folk, so as long as they're properly immersed in wizarding society and have a decent position that's not so bad, but for goodness' sake, don't go off and socialize with any muggles.
And then one day his father hastily filled in for a Misuse of Muggle Artifacts officer who'd had an accident with an exploding kettle, and met Anne-Sophie. Instead of obliviating her like he was supposed to, he explained about the wizarding world, and met with her more and more often. Eventually his mother found out and denied their request to marry, but it was too late. And of course the child would be a wizard, so they couldn't just leave him with the woman, as soon as he was old enough for Hogwarts it would be a scandal-- so Tamaki's father was quickly married to a respectable woman who could keep her mouth shut, and Tamaki was given to his father.
He's only recently learned of this story, and is currently working to get enough status with his grandmother to be allowed to seek out his birth mother; he's taking the required NEWTs for a prestigious Ministry job, and his natural outgoing manner and friendly demeanor mean he has rather a lot of influential friends. (He befriends absolutely everyone. His grandmother sees it as a strategy. He really just likes people.) He's also completely fascinated by muggles, and has been known to befriend people simply for being muggleborn and then pester them with questions about how airplanes stay up.

Bio: Mileina is the daughter of two muggleborns. Her father works designing broomsticks (and maybe enchanting a few muggle machines on the side) while her mother works in transit regulation in the Ministry. Her paternal grandfather is a mechanic, and her father's always had an interest in the area; Mileina can often be seen playing around with various gears and motors, because she's internalized her father's dodgy logic that if a wizard builds it from the ground up, it's not really an enchanted muggle artifact, is it now?
She's generally a good student; her favorite classes are Arithmancy and Astronomy, and she enjoys Professor Edgeworth's lectures. The one class she's absolutely horrible at is herbology; all that nature stuff is too vague for her brain, so she gets anxious over correct amounts and quantifiable measurements and ends up basically killing everything.
Pam Beesley

Position: School Nurse

Bio: Pam is an average girl from an average family who happens to be a witch. Her parents were stunned and confused but pleased, and her Hogwarts life was fairly uneventful. After graduation, her boyfriend proposed, and she said yes because she liked him well enough and wasn't sure what else she was going to do; part of her wanted to go to an art school, but those were all in the Muggle world, and after seven years of mostly being away she didn't want to wrench herself away from what she was now familiar with. So she went to learn to be a Healer, but because adult patients intimidated her a bit, she went back to Hogwarts when a nurse vacancy opened up.
Basically, she's the pushover nurse. She can deadpan with the best of them and usually knows when a student is faking, but chances are she'll let them sleep for a couple of classes anyway. And if any pranksters need a place to hide, the bed in the corner has wrap-around curtains and she knows nothing.
