The first chapter of my thesis is gone. Saved wrong somehow. I think I know roughly when it happened, but that doesn't change the fact that it's thirteen pages gone poof into the ether

I am so glad that you were able to recover your work! I lost seven pages of my thesis last year right before the due date, and since the whole thing wasn't exactly going well anyway...yyyyeah. *hugs* I'm sorry that you had to deal with this kind of stress.
