When I was about two or three-years old mom took me berry picking. She set me down amongst the berries and commenced to picking in the area. When she looked for me again I had crawled a few feet over to a pile of moose nuggets and had begun to eat them.
No big deal, even. Gross? Yes. But not quite really gross to Alaskans.
