If I only had a brain...
So, watched the first part of Tin Man this evening. I found it very enjoyable, and I really love what they've done with the classic story. Auntie Em and Uncle Henry are from OZ? And they're robots? Freaking awesome. I also really love Alan Cumming as Glitch, The Scarecrow. He's wonderfully vacant and extremely insightful at times. The Tin Man guy, whose name I'm too lazy to look up right now, is great too. And how much do I love Raw, the Lion? LOVE.
And I really enjoy DG. It's so weird. Sometimes, I can hear Emily Deschanel coming out of her mouth. Hee. But Zoey fits well with the DG character and the overall tone of Tin Man. I'm interested to see what else she does with the character.
One thing I'm not sure about is the Wicked Witch chick. She's okay. I'm just annoyed that she is, predictably, DG's sister. I was hoping DG would not turn out to be related to the Sorceress. That's just so...10th Kingdom. Oh well.
I am excited to see the rest of this series. It just looks cool, besides being entertaining.
Woo, finals! Lots of papers and things to do, plus grad school applications. Sigh. There is never enough time for sleep.
The other night, I passed out in front of The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, and my mom could not wake me up, even after she shouted at me from across the room. She eventually had to shout and clap her hands really loud for a little while before I finally woke up. I haven't been that tired in a loooong time.
Well, must sleep now. Work in the AM. 'Night. :)
