Weekend in Portland: Thursday's Airplane Adventures

So, now that I am mostly back on East Coast time and I have had a decent night's sleep, let's recap my Portland adventures. I'm going to break this into a couple posts just so it doesn't get ridiculously long, and also because I want to put pictures with some of it and I don't want that to make the post really ridiculously long

That....bites. You'd think they'd tell you about needing to change planes ahead of time. I mean, isn't there usually a second boarding pass and whatnot that they give you? Also, you're the second person I know who's had a flight delayed for "maintenance" purposes. It's a bad season for flying, I guess.

*nods* Maybe it was because we had to take a different plane than planned from Detroit? Idk, it was just weird. I've never been on a "continuing on" flight other than to get off at the first destination, though, so I don't know much about what happens when things go wonky with one. The gate signage looked like that of a "continuing on" flight, though, which was why I was confused about the changing of planes.
