I cannot win the weather roulette. We've escaped the snow and other winter precipitation (mostly), but in exchange there's ridiculous gusts of wind. The house has been creaking. Also, my car is developing a snow drift on the driver's side. I'm going to regret that tomorrow...

With what looks to be at least a foot of snow on the ground and the snow still coming down, although at a slower pace than before, my mom and I have decided that we're declaring ourselves snowed in until we can clear the driveway of snow. My laptop lives! Well, sorta. It seems the hard drive controller died? Yeah, that's a new one for me. But hey, no data loss, so that's a plus.

As is likely evident, I do have computer access. Dad's still working on getting my laptop to be at least functional in some way (the hard drive, it was corrupted...).
