Howdy stranger :) So does this describe your experience with medical school??
I was sort of surprised by my results. It told me I'm a leader who wants to be in control. I laughed out loud. Maybe I'm a closet control freak or something :/
Yeah, it pretty much describes my current thoughts on med school... sigh. I had high hopes and after the brief "honeymoon period" it got a bit old. Luckily I am an MD/PhD student and I get to take 3 years off the medical part and do my PhD entirely, starting this summer -- so I am hoping that this will help the doldrums ;)
Did you pick the colors as the "color you like best"? Or by that particular shade? I did by the "color I like best" and it seemed to work best. I did it again while choosing the shades I liked best (like I didn't really like that Blue, but I did like That Green, etc) and it didn't work nearly as well.
Either way. Freaky little profile thing -- 85% of the folks I've seen take it say it was eeriely dead on. (probably like horoscopes though, just apply to everyone!)
It's been, let's see, 25 years since graduation from med school, yet the feelings of those first couple years came flooding back while reading your post. Going in, so excited and nervous, hopeful, idealistic. Then, after the first year, soooo cynical, bitter, disillusioned, disgusted. Second year was a draining, survival ordeal.
I really, really hope that you regain your sparkle and find some peace & tranquility in the PhD phase of your long haul. Hang in there.
It'll get better for you when you're studying something you actually want to study, instead of being force fed EVERYTHING. If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm here. And I haven't seen your place yet! We need to hang out!!! Things will calm down once we've passed the Step 1 hurdle. Until then, stay strong, sweety :o)

I also thought that what mine said about me was pretty accurate. Cool, huh!
