[The PCD that has spent the last week listed as being off the network blinks on a video feed. As always, the look is subtle, but Sephiroth looks a bit puzzled.

Weren't there traps going off all over the place when he'd headed out to the Wastes that morning? Nothing besides the usual had troubled him as he re-entered the city.]

I went out into the Wastes to train for a little while, no different than I do most other days. How long was I gone? As apparently my answer of 'five or six hours' is not correct.

[He didn't do it on purpose! It's not like he went out into the Wastes with the sole purpose of making people think he'd vanished. That just happened.
