If you want to chat, my you can e-mail me or message me on MSN at jurirulesanime_akioproofshoes@hotmail.com and my AIM s/n is NakuruTouyaGlomp.

Hey there! I added you to my Aim buddy list but i havent seen you on at all... What do you want to study at CCA? Have you visited the campus yet? I'm sooooo super nervous and excited and all those things you listed above times a gajillion! I'm going to be down there visiting this coming weekend! I'm so excited to finally see the campus, i've been going on blind faith this entire time believing that i was going to love it no matter what... so let's hope this stands true. Anyways, i'll IM you sometime if i ever see you on.

Eek! So sorry about the delay in reply! I applied for a double major in Creative Writing and Fine Arts. Applied that is. I searched about and found the Student Manual and read that one is not alowd to double major with CWriting. Fuck, said I. So I'm hoping to write an appeal to the Dean in hopes to change this incredable fallicy. Ba!
Right, haven't seen the campus yet, though I do visit San Francisco freqently (I like in Sacramento, only a little under two hours away by car). I love the city and bay area in general, so I'm going on the assuption I'll fall madlyhorriblyinlove with the campus and Oakland. ^_^; Will find out this weekend when I set out to see it!

Will sign on to AIM. I rarely use it. I'm more of a MSN messanger junkie, but I'll sign on more in hopes to catching you : )

Both campuses are TOTALLY DIFFERENT, which is part of what makes the school so cool. They're both really small compared to the college I went to for undergraduate (CCA = about 2,000 kids, and UC Davis = about 22,000!!!) but they're both really neat. Oakland is all trees and old houses and hands-on craft stuff, and SF is in like a renovated warehouse and full of crazy design and architecture stuff. It's a good mix.

So, um, wait, is you coming to CCA not a sure thing any more?

If your parents can't pay, I HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING FEDERAL LOANS TO COVER IT. You can transfer into a state college, sure, but art schools usually don't accept credits from other schools. No matter how many classes you take at a community college CCA will still make you take 3 years of classes here. They NEVER let anybody out in 2 years.

I am going to school on federal loans right now and it's pretty easy. Of course I'll have to pay all this back when I graduate, but right now I don't have to worry about it at all and the school takes care of everything,.

well.. the most i would probably do would be... well.. i would see if CCA wanted to postpone my enrollment for a year so i can get some of my general ed out of the way and then move in next year... but then someone told me that the first 2 years at CCA arent general ed based and that its a lot more studio time and that the gen. ed. is more spread out... but then i dont know... is that true? i need you to set things right in my mind jackson! help me ( ... )

Well, ok, you could probably get most of your general education out of the way in 1 year at Community College and then take 3 years here at CCA and get your degree that way, which would definitely save a lot of money since CC is a lot cheaper than CCA.

I reeeeally suggest talking to an admissions councelor about that when you're here on Thursday! I have class like almost all day at the SF campus (and also I don't know the Oakland campus at all), but I do know that they have admissions councelors on the Oakland campus who you can talk to about just this sort of thing.

GOOD LUCK!!!
