Bad, bad, really irritating news that I'll tell you about later, maybe after I have an ice cream coma, or something. This is going to affect things for a long time for me. :(

For now, let's pimp. Me first. Are you reading mcshep_match? Are you commenting? Are you guessing the authors and artists in the guessing post? Good.

Eh, sorry things suck for you. Hope they'll look up soon.

pimpage... I have like one minute so I'll copypaste my Fullmetal Alchemist pimping comment from Rheanna's DW. (ah, efficiency...:)

I keep hearing good things about FMA, although I've so far managed not to pick up any manga fandoms. What are you enjoying about it?

Oh! Oh! Where to start. make a post: Ten Reasons to Read Fullmetal Alchemist which I think says it best.

I will add reason #11: Colonel Roy Mustang is hot as hell. (And, to get out of the shallow end of the pool, he is a fascinating character, along with his subordinate & confidante Riza Hawkeye ( ... )

I'm sorry for the irritating news. :( And I give you an extra scoop of ice cream -- on the house! :)

It is always a good time to watch Avatar:TLA, but I can also recommend True Blood if you haven't been watching (sheer crack - bloody but fun), ooh! Or the last season of Doctor Who! :D

And I'm slowly (slowly) working my way through the McShep match. (Man, there are a lot of them!). The ones I've enjoyed have been very enjoyable indeed. Kind of reminds me why I was drawn to that 'ship in the first place.

Hmmm. Sherlock is definitely interesting and won't take you too long - 1.5 hrs per ep. 1st and 3rd are quite good and the 2nd isn't too bad. And there's great fic to read when you're done!

However, Avatar: The Last Airbender is AWESOME! Obviously much more time involved in watching, BUT SO WORTH IT. Like due South, this is a show I would watch (if I owned it) to make me happy on bad days.

I really loved Sherlock, you should try it! really nice twists to bring to 2010 while keeping the characters recognizable.

apart from that... did you see the movies Inception and The Losers? because that's what I'm reading, mostly. That and two fabulous Generation Kill AUs that blew my mind. if there is any interest in one of those series/movies, tell me!

I started reading the "novel" by Rick Castle, "Heat Wave" today. it's great to read a derived product of a series like that.
