Much has been going on of late. i have finally managed to get myself moved to chico with occassional trips back to chester right now mainly for dentistry work. I am seriously considering getting involved as a volunteer with the butte county Search and Rescue Team. I have a bunch of the skills they use already, Iwould love a chance to get more

Volunteering is good. You'll find others who share the same passion and you'll get practice with your skills, plus it looks good on resumes and scholarship apps.
As for visiting, I'll get there eventually, you'll probably have to meet me somewhere and show me how to get there.
Talked to Jon tonight, he's in Susanville. They took him to Lassen Hospital this evening. The first time I called the conversation only lasted like two minutes as Jon's stomach decided to purge itself and we were disconnected. I called back later and we talked for a while, sounds like hospitals everywhere are going downhill. I have a friend here who also had problems when she went to the hospital, this discourages me very much. Anyway, dad was at the Kenworthys the second time I called so I got to talk to him as well. Apparently mom told both of you that I freaked out, thanks mom! She could have kept my worrywart mommedness between us since we both do it.
