So the insurance company called my dad to let him know that with all the damage to my car they had declared it a total loss. Which sucks. A lot. But, on the upside they are going to give us quite a bit of money for the car: more than half of what we originally paid for it. Now I'm searching for a new (used) car. Made it to Nicholls. The drive was reallly pretty. About halfway there the scenery turned to brown fields waiting to be planted and when I was closer to Morgan City trees sprang up from seemingly nowhere. I could live in a place this beautiful. It's so different from Lafayette, and I like it a lot. Nicholls is beautiful as well. The campus uses red ( Read more... )
