Perfect; yes. Fortunately all involved managed to turn out normalish despite tremendous odds against them. Though on that note, Normal might not be the best word. How about Enjoyable?

The avocado boats set out on a wide and treacherous sea (alongside the drummer and the singer and the seal blowing his nose); they ran up on shore a time or two, but at least they were not alone. Was it chance?
