That was the original plan, but after I visited the dealership and saw pretty much exactly what I wanted in the all-gas version and the sales guy showed he was pretty desperate for the business I pulled the trigger. It gets 22MPG on average, 26 on the highway so that's about 10-15 more than the Jeep got, and considering the huge price difference for the hybrid for just 4 more miles per gallon it didn't add up. Hopefully alternative fuels start to flood the market and the prices will come down soon, I'd like my next car to be a hybrid just because driving a whisper quiet full size car up to 20mph seems hella cool. The market must be tough right now at $4/gallon, incentives galore!

Bring up something for the after fest. The parents brought down some Gritty's Pub Style and I still have the limited edition beers chilling out too.
