I know. I think it was infected for a while but I never noticed it until I wanted to install some programs and it wouldn't let me. :/
I'm just happy it's not the kind of thing that is easily transferred via e-mail and such and it is only able to infect you computer if you install a program from the internet that has it hidden inside.
